Katie Beth’s school celebrated Thanksgiving today. Karen helped out and said all the children had fun.

The weather was wonderful so we went to the UAH Duck Pond to feed the ducks, which are actually mainly geese.
They went crazy when they saw the amount of food that we brought with us.
Karen, Katie Beth, and Lucy walked the Galaxy of Lights tonight. Katie Beth got to visit Santa Claus before going on the walking tour. The evening was wonderful and they got a bit of exercise, but the cookies and hot chocolate didn’t hurt.
Katie Beth had a great time playing in the square with the other children as we waited for our table.
The weather was great and the food was great.
We are having a blast. Katie Beth is in her element! She was going from ride to ride. She had a great time dancing and play while listening to the band.
As for me, the second spinning ride did me in completely. I had to sit down for quite awhile before taking to the rides again.
Karen had a wonderful time relaxing.
Kaite Beth had her school portrait today. Karen helped out the photographer so we received our photographs for free.
In the end, the company had to resend a new version of our photos. But, it all worked out in the end.
Katie Beth and I had nice humid hike this morning to the Metal Mayhem geocache.
We got to walk by the cave entrance, too.
But, Katie Beth’s main objective was to get to the playground.
Karen and I have signed up or volunteered for what seems like everything tonight.
Katie Beth got to visit with some of her friends that will be in her class and in other grades. Her teacher, Mrs. Williams, had treats for the children. Katie Beth enjoyed the evening.
Katie Beth is excited about the soccer team.
Karen and I are celebrating 16 years of marriage today. We have come a long way.
