Katie Beth had a blast here today. She got to play with a lot of children. She even got to rub a wolf pelt.
After playing everywhere, we headed on and the stopped at William Park and played some more.
She announced that she is tired and hungry.
Bridge Street Merry-Go-Round
We are waiting on our Tommy’s Pizza while we ride the merry-go-round.

Karen and Katie Beth are enjoying their treats. I couldn’t have better Valentine’s.

Playing at Indian Creek
We have been checking out rocks and making splashes with them in the creek. We even heard an owl, but it went quite when we got too close.
We found an old broken electrical insulator from a telephone pole.
Making Leaf Boats
We are having a busy day. Grandmother and Katie Beth are launching leaf boats into granddaddy’s pond.
We have been to breakfast at Blue Plate and to Starbucks for a snack.
And, we visited Godmomma Allison at her store.
Next, we are heading to the playground.
Earth Fare Customer in Training
Katie Beth and Karen were excited to see the new grocery carts at Earth Fare. I’m not sure who was more excited to see the carts.
Katie Beth will from now on be in charge of the cart.
Hot Chocolate, A Perfect End to Playing Outside
Katie Beth is really enjoying the hot chocolate after our time outside at the playground. The camera doesn’t truly capture the amount of hot chocolate on her face.
We had a fun time cracking the ice at the playground, but I could not get her to stop putting her mittens in the icy water.
She fell a sleep quickly after all of today’s activities.

We are making the best of the morning.
We started out with buttermilk pancakes, which were wonderful. I’m going start making buttermilk instead of regular pancakes. They are so much lighter and tastier.
