Her First Puzzle
Katie Beth did her first puzzle without help.
Karen got her started with the four corners, but Katie Beth went on to
put in the remaining 20 something pieces while we made dinner.
Warm Enough for the Playground
We are having a great time at the playground in Sherwood Park.
Katie Beth is trying everything again as if it was all new.
Mellow Mushroom and Friends
We are having movie night with Allison and Steve Tofflemire. I’m grabbing pizza at Mellow Mushroom for the gang.
We are going to be watching Hercules, which is one of Steve’s favorite movies. I’m looking forward to the movie. I haven’t seen it in years. Katie Beth will love it because of all the singing.
Hot Coals
Ah, hots coals.
We are grilling tonight. We have a lovely pork loin covered with Old Bay season and a little Butt Rub®. We have chicken all season, too.
After enjoying the pork loin, we toasted marshmallows until we couldn’t eat any more.
My Mother’s Sister and her Husband Visiting
My Aunt Ann and Uncle Alfred came into town for the weekend. Aunt Ann made a wonderful dinner as a treat for my mother. It was just great.
Katie Beth loved seeing her great aunt and uncle.
At Thai Garden for Lunch
I have not been to Thai Garden in many months. I’m looking forward to Pad Bai Ga-Praw with three stars.

We are having fun!
Katie Beth loves this, but she just can’t leave the pegs in the Lite Brite.
Add a few beers and this is even great for the adults!
Our Little Cook
Katie Beth in her apron that just came in the mail. She loved it. We got out her toddler cookbook and made multicolored meringues.
She had a blast, but I could not get her to use less force. Meringue went everywhere and she kept eating the power sugar that had fallen on the floor and table.
But, they tastes very good.
Having Fun with Everyone

Katie Beth had just opened her gifts from Baylie and Brooke. Brooke and Little Connell are my brother’s children and Baylie is Brooke’s daughter.
